How to Find Us

Rocky Mountain Pet Resort is about one mile off Hwy 131 either 27 miles south of Steamboat Springs or 40 miles north of Wolcott, which is just off of Interstate 70. The Pet Resort is located a ½ mile west of the town of Yampa.

From Steamboat Springs go to the east side of town. Turn South on Highway 131. You will continue through the towns of Oak Creek and then Phippsburg. Yampa is the next town. As you approach Yampa the highway will “Y”. Stay right into town, and onto Main Street. On Main go passed the Elementary School and take a right on 3rd Street. There are no more turns go to the end of 3rd and keep going. 3rd street will turn into our road, Watson Creek Trail. We are located at the end of Watson Creek Trail, just a ½ from the edge of town.

From Vail and the Eagle Valley take Interstate 70 to the Wolcott exit. Go north on the access road. Turn left on Highway 6 and in about a ¼ of a mile turn right on Highway 131 (the Wolcott Yacht Club will be on your left). Continue through the towns of State Bridge, Bond, McCoy and Toponas. Yampa is 9 miles north of Toponas. As you approach Yampa you will see a Sinclair fuel station on the left. There, you take a left onto Moffat and continue to the end of the street. Turn right onto Main Street. Take a left onto 3rd Street and continue as 3rd Street becomes Watson Creek Trail at the edge of town. You will find us ½ mile up Watson Creek Trail at the end of the road.

We look forward to seeing you soon!
